This is me

I am an optimistic person. I try to always look at things from a positive perspective. Life is too short to let things get in the way of having fun. I am always doing something with my friends and finding new crazy ways to have fun which at some points have gotten me into trouble. I have made my mistakes in life but through them all I have learned what my weaknesses are and how to help make myself stronger. I once heard a quote that sums up my philosophy about life; Life isn't about finding yourself, its about creating yourself. Life is like a roller coaster, we will have our ups and downs but its the events along that will shape our outcome and who we become. I love being around people and helping people in any way I can. I am a Christian and I don't care who knows it. I'm not perfect and I have had my downfalls in Christianity but God has always been there for me and has lead my through my weakest moments in life. I love being around my friends, they are my life. Without them, I'm not sure where I would be today. I'm a girly girl, I love makeup, clothes and of course my favorite color is pink. Like most any girl, I love to talk and my phone is always with me. I love my family and they are a huge part of my life, especially my brother. We are only one year apart and we are best friends. He has been there practically my whole life and I am so blessed to have him in my life. I love watching football and my favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. My favorite place is my small hometown in North Carolina. There is only 2 stoplights in town but the people are amazing and not to mention the it is hometown to my favorite place to get hot wings. I don't watch t.v. very much unless its the news or reality shows like The Hills. I am double majoring in Communications and English Education. I will hopefully one day become a news anchor and if not I'd like to be a high school English teacher. I'm not sure what my future holds but i know that whatever it is God will be there for me and lead me in the right direction.
